Martins Emerged As Chairman Island Club
An International business mogul Prince Rotimi Martins has been declared as the chairman Island Club after securing 272 votes during an election conducted recently in the Club.
According to a press statement signed by the Chairman Island Club Electoral Committee Mr. Akin Ogunbiyi he revealed that Prince Rotimi Martins emerged as the new President of the Club after securing 272 votes during the election held at the premises of the club on 17th of May 2024.
The electoral umpire declared that Prince Rotimi Martins met the requirement for him to serve the club and further build on the positive legacies of his predecessors in office.
In an acceptance speech presented by the new chairman of the club, Prince Martins Rotimi reaffirmed his determination to protect the interest of the club at all times adding that there was the need for all members of the club to extend maximum cooperation to the new Executives of the Club so that greater things will be achieved.
Other Executive members of the club Engr. Ademola Amure Vice chairman, Aare Kamorudeen Danjuma Gen. Secretary while Mr. Eyitayo Adebowale will serve as treasurer of the club.
Island club has been in existence for several years creating the much needed platform for social interaction and integration.
The clubs has gone a step further towards providing corporate social responsibility to the people of Lagos State through humanitarian service.
